Synthesizing videos of flume experiments with neural networks

I am happy to share a poster for a class project in which neural networks are trained to synthesize new videos of flume experiments. Results show that the complexity of flow and sediment transport is superior to relatively sophisticated architectures. The poster is available online as well as the synthesized videos from the various learning attempts.

There is a long path until we can statistically learn these systems…
